Standard Delivery

Threshold Delivery
Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice.
In-Home Delivery
In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery. (Not available in all states.)
O/S (Oversized) Delivery
Items that are heavy or bulky are subject to an Oversized Delivery surcharge. This charge is listed after the item price.

Dramatically different chandelier!
We have two of the antique silver orb chandeliers and absolutely love them! The medium sized ones are perfect for both our casual dining areas. They make quite a dramatic statement without being overly decorative in our beach house. I love them because they are so unique in the design of intersecting rings. It was so refreshing to find this chandelier among the sea of humdrum 6 arm chandeliers!

Exceptionally Nice Chandelier
When my designer suggested this light I was not really too excited about it. HOWEVER, after I saw the light in place and had a dimmer switch installed, I couldn't be happier. It is such a beautiful piece. It isn't at all like the plan old boring chandelier that I would have picked on my own, it's so much better. It adds such a "cosmic" classy feel to my living room where it's been hung. It's just lovely.
It shipped very quickly, arrived in mint condition and came with all of the right stuff to hang it with: a chain, an extension rod and even white "candle stick" covers as an option ( I didn't use them, but it was a lovely touch and it will be fun to use them on occasion).
I highly recommend installing a dimmer switch with this in increases your options for creating a variety of ambiances.

very handsome piece
The openwork of this chandelier has a presence without obstructing a view of our artwork. It mixes well with our transitional and traditional furnishings.

Disappointed
First of all, the product was delayed several times. Unfortunately it was not worth the wait. The interior portion of the fixture does not hang straight. The quality of the construction is poor/cheap. It received great reviews, but I suspect this latest batch of fixtures was not made to to same quality standards. I usually have great luck with Ballard products, but this was a huge disappointment. We are currently looking to replace with a higher quality fixture.

Great Quality and Size
When I ordered the large orb, I was afraid that it would be too small for my space - a cathedral ceiling (2 story) open foyer that is very large and open. It arrived in great shape and the size is perfect. It was easy to install. It is also very bright. I was concerned that with only 6 bulbs, the light would not be bright enough for my big space but its perfect - we used round clear bulbs of the suggested wattage and it gives off tons of light.

Striking Chandelier
This chandelier came at the end of a two-year search to replace the builder's chandelier in a landing which is actually a focal point from the great room of our house. It needed to be bold, but not interfere with paintings or with the other fixtures in the house (oiled bronze and opaque white glass). It does all of the above. It is visually beautiful from all heights (above, below) and throws a lovely pattern on the wall when lit.

A real show piece for my home.
This is a great light for my breakfast area. My house is very open and this piece is seen from the kitchen and the living room so it needed to be special. This light is the perfect solution without looking like a typical chandelier and it could go anywhere. Everyone that sees it wants to know where I got it. Thank you Ballard for a wonderful lighting option! It is amazing how much light it puts out too.

Lovely & Different
I had been looking for a light for our two story foyer for almost a year. I waited until this was $100 off and went ahead & bought it. I had seen so many other chandeliers & nothing else compared. Had an electrician install it (too high for us to do) & every time I look at it I know I made the right choice. FYI: I bought the large bronze for our foyer which has 17 foot ceilings. The size is just right.

This Chandelier is Amazing!
I absolutely love this chandelier! It really has given my entryway a makeover:) It is very modern, yet classy. I would definitely purchase this again! I would like a smaller one for over my dining room table!

Great design...better than photo
I bought this lamp for my boyfriend's foyer, and he loved it. The open design filled the room up and gave it more structure but left an airy feeling because one can see right through the lamp's "orbs". So while its dimensions are big, the lamp evokes a very light, airy feel because of its design. Very unique and eye-catching. He's received many compliments. A great buy for the price.

a true highlight
Even as we were completely redecorating our living room top to bottom I was already looking for a new ceiling light fixture when I casually was flipping through your catalog and saw the orb chandelier. It took a bit of persuading my husband that it would look wonderful and complete the updated and clean lines of our 'new' living room. As so many others have mentioned in their reviews this is a stunning piece in its elegant simplicity-and I love the glass ball at the bottom ( no one else does, though). For those of you considering this purchase please make note of the sizes which I wish Ballard would address a bit more extensively. The large is huge even for my large living room and had to exchange for the small which is ideal. In my attached photo you may also notice the Ballard garden stool and a very old Ballard buffet lamp...too bad you cannot see the bee stool. It is all lovely and perfect, thank you Ballard.

In LOVE!
We are in the final month of building our home and just had this installed in our 2 story foyer, it looks SO good!!! Our builder and several contractors have all asked me where to get it. I cant get over how perfect it is, I ordered the oil rubbed bronze in large and it looks great! I know its a bit pricey (and I hate paying too much for stuff) but this was so worth ii!

lots of light, pretty and classic
I was searching for an iron orb light fixture after seeing a few similar light fixtures in Scandinavian churches. This fixture is large and open. Completely beautiful.
I first invested in a competitor's version, but it was welded incorrectly and I returned it. The Ballard version is wonderful. It was easy to install, has lots of chain, and two sets of light covers.

Beautiful and Unique!
I ordered 2 of these, large size/bronze color, and they look amazing! One is in an entry and the other in a 2 story ceiling dining room (for which I did get extra chain from a lighting store so it would hang closer to the dining table). They are beautiful and seem like they would work well with just about any type of décor. Quality is great.

Stunning focal point!
What a room transformation! This fixture looks like an art piece and really stepped up the look of my dining room. Even my husband was blown away. Too bad we waited this long. Now I'm so pleased with this purchase that I'd love to get 2 more to hang from my living room's cathedral ceiling. But will have to save up a bit for that.

I love it!
This chandelier is stunning. I have it hanging above my dining room table. I like to mix antique and contempory - this really adds zing to the room. I used round, clear bulbs and hung the little glass ball on the bottom directly without the little crystals - the bulbs and ball complement each other. I think every home needs one!

Beautiful light, great quality
I purchased this light for the dining area in the kitchen. The room has a wall of windows in a rounded formation, so I figured the orb would fit well into the room.
It's very pretty and can easily be decorated for the seasons if you want. It also makes a statement - not your average chandelier.
I highly recommend this product.

Even better than expected
I've ordered several items from Ballard through the years and have never been disappointed. This light fixture was no exception. I ordered the small version and it's absolutely perfect with the high ceilings in my kitchen. It makes the room sparkle and gets ooh and aahs. I would very highly recommend this chandelier.

Price not Perfection
Overall, we like the look of our Orb Chandelier. The bar running through the middle was chipped at the top. Too much of a hassel to re-pack it all to return it so just hope friends don't notice it! Also, the "upright" lights aren't exactly upright as they slant to side. But, it achieves the wow look we were wanting.

Love this chandelier!
I installed the bronze orb chandelier in my dining room. I love it and get numerous compliments.
I am using dimmable compact fluorescent chandelier bulbs and needed to install a CFL/LED-compliant dimmer for it to work properly.
I had to wait a few months for it as it was backordered, but it was well worth the wait!

Many Compliments
Following a kitchen remodel which took 5 months with much effort and expense, I did not want to make any mistakes. When choosing light fixtures, I was in the mindset that I had to match stainless appliances and cabinet hardware. Upon choosing and installing a traditional sem-flush stainless fixture, I was not happy. It took a while for my husband to wrap his head around the fact that I was determined to change fixture with a "pop", impressive piece, even though we would take a monetary loss as the original fixture could not be returned. Ordered large orb in bronze and it is perfect. Bronze picks up tones within my marble/glass backspash. Large size is perfect over 48" round glass table. As the electrical ceiling box was not centered over table and also with large window, this fixture was perfect to swag chain with a centered ceiling hook. I am very happy as is my husband. He installed and claims it was a breeze. He and I both enjoy the comments from guests. Perfect choice!

Fills the space perfectly... Light and airy.
This lovely light is now the focal point of our entry. With a high ceiling and staircase twisting up the wall this orb fits perfectly. It is so sculptural yet transparent casting an interesting shadow. We have it on a dimmer which enhances the space. . We love it and sorry we waited so long to purchase it.

Could not send it back!!!
I bought the large t hand over my kitchen table...when it arived it was too big. It was so fantastic I could not part with it. I ended up replacing a celing fan in my family room with this beautiful light! If i cN fiure out how to post a pic i will in the near future...BEAUTIFUL!

Love it
I absolutely love my Orb chandelier. It is such a great compromise from the dated crystal chandelier and the too funky other ones. I hung it above the dining room table, and it works beautifully. It also throws great shadows across the room. It comes fully assembled. Go for it!

beautiful, eye-catching piece of art
I looked for over a year for exactly this chandelier for over our eat-in kitchen table. We have 14 foot ceilings and this chandelier is the centerpiece of our kitchen and dining area. Sometimes I just stand in the doorway and gaze at it! Best purchase I've made in years.

Best Chandelier Ever
We have chandeliers all over our home and decided on this one for my man cave. It's by far the most unique and fitting for the room it is in. My wife put on some bulbs that look like little orange flames and it's just a visual masterpiece. Purchase this chandelier now!
