Standard Delivery

Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice.
In-Home Delivery
In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery. (Not available in all states.)
O/S (Oversized) Delivery
Items that are heavy or bulky are subject to an Oversized Delivery surcharge. This charge is listed after the item price.

This 30" orb light has the "wow" factor !!!
Everyone who sees this light loves it!! It is over our square counter height kitchen table hanging from a 10' ceiling . This is a large open space room and we needed something awesome that would make a statement.....It was definitely worth the wait. I went to many websites and there was just nothing quite like this one. We prefer it without the round ball at the bottom, which was removable. We are thrilled to have found such a special piece. I will always check Ballard Designs whenever I need home decor items.

love this!
got the chandelier for a fair price. updates our eating area wonderfully. Modern yet classic, as all things from BD. We installed it ourselves. . . please note that there really are not instructions because the manufacturer (whom I called) really wants you to hire a professional. We've done chandeliers before so we thought we'd do this one. We "only" had to take it down once before we got it right (as opposed to other times when we've taken all day!) This image we attached is the medium-sized option which was perfect for this space (ceilings are 10')

Beautiful, conversation piece, very well constructed
I decided to replace an expensive brushed pewter chandelier as a spring update, and wasn't sure how this chandelier was going to look with my slip covered furniture and mostly raw wood pieces and antiques. Once installed, it really completed the room and is a conversation piece! A great addition hanging over my cherry handmade dining room table. I didn't end up using the little crystal ball that was included; liked the piece better without it. Love, love, love this purchase

Simply Stunning
We had searched far and wide for the ideal chandelier in our mid-century modern dining room, ceasing our hunt at first sight of the aged silver orb.
The chandelier arrived by the anticipated date, installation was a breeze and the result exceeded our highest expectations. It is one of the most striking fixtures we have ever seen.

Lovely!
I ordered the small brushed silver version of the Orb chandelier for my dining room. My home is a 1950's ranch-style with 8' ceilings, so we couldn't use much of the provided chain, but it still looks great! It makes the dining room look current and fresh.
The only thing I've noted is that the chandelier casts shadows when lit at night since the lights are reflecting through the orb. It may just be my dining room, but it's the only thing I'm not crazy about.
Otherwise, it's beautiful and I would recommend it if you're looking to freshen up your room!

Great quality and very beautiful!
My husband and I installed the chandelier in our living room to replace a lighted ceiling fan. It has transformed the room! We can't get over what a difference it has made. The orb light casts beautiful geometric shadows on the walls. We also installed a dimmer to the wall switch that turns it on and can enjoy different types of "mood light", from a warm glow to full sunny brightness. The quality is excellent and comparable to the chandeliers I looked at in decorator showrooms.

Looks amazing!
I was very nervous about ordering a light fixture online without being able to see it in person first, but I'm so glad I went ahead. The light fixture looks amazing in our dining room. We have 10' ceilings and it looks just fine ... though I think it would look even better in a room with higher ceilings so you see more of the rod and chain. Overall I couldn't be happier.

Gives out great light
This was easy to install and gives out great light - which was my husband's main criterion. It looks really stylish and comes with a choice of white candlestick covers or bronze ones that match the frame.

Excellent Quality
We are thrilled with the Orb Chandelier. We purchased it for a new addition to our home, and it's perfect. The quality, size and color are just right for our space. The catalog does not do this chandelier justice. It definitely looks richer in person and the overall effect when hung is stunning. Great Ballard find...again!

Fresh, Modern & Classic
I'm updating my dining room & thought I wanted a drum shade pendant, but found the drum shade took up too much visual space in the room. I was having a hard time finding something modern, yet airy & then I saw this Ballard orb chandelier. We just installed it today & it looks great! The small in bronze works perfectly for our room with 8' ceilings & 84" table. The chandelier hangs at the perfect height without the addition of any chain. I also love how the shape appears to change from different angles, as you can see from the photos with the product description. Great value & nice quality.

Big!
I have a large two story foyer and I was afraid the Orb wouldn't fill the space. We hung it and I never want to take it down. It is definitely not too small and everbody who sees it has something great to say about it. A favorite piece in the house for me!

Very up to date
I ordered the medium for a townhouse dining room that isn't very large. The fixture is pretty big, so I had to hang it as close to the ceiling as possible to make it work. Also, one of the iron orbs was slightly bent, so I had to turn that part towards the back. I don't know if that happened in the shipping or not, but it wasn't noticeable once I turned it around, and it would have been a real hassle to exchange it because the outer packaging was pretty beat up. Make sure of your sizing before ordering.

Beautiful!
After searching online for weeks for the perfect chandelier, I finally ordered two of these in white after reading all the great reviews. They arrived within two weeks which was a nice surprise being that they we're backordered for 4-6 weeks. Our electrician put them up with no problems at all, he said it doesn't get any easier than this. We absolutely love them! Our home is on the traditional side but our decor is contemporary so this light fits in perfectly. We have one in our dining room and one in our family room and they completely changed the look of the rooms. These beauties really come alive at night, spectacular way to light up a room! We used round bulbs to give it a more modern look and chose the white sleeves (comes with two sets of sleeves!). These replaced our crystal chandeliers that required lots of cleaning to maintain them and these will just need a light dusting. Perfect! Couldn't be happier. Another great purchase from Ballards!

Love My Orb!
Have looked at literally thousands of chandeliers for my beach house renovation. I knew this was it immediately. I got the antique silver finish and love it. It looks distressed but still elegant - and somehow it fits into my slightly-vintage-beach-cottage style. Easy to install, too. I prefer flame-shaped bulbs rather than the ball-style that came with the light, but not a problem to change out. And the finial at the bottom is super-cute. I was a little worried about the shadows the orb casts, but I'm used to it already. I love my orb! Ballard came through again!

quite fantastic
I love this chandelier and was very excited for it to arrive. It is hanging in our dining room and makes quite a statement. I was a little worried about the size and went with the smaller one...worked out great for our decent size dining room. I wouldn't have wanted any bigger.

Statement Piece
I recently bought the 6-light orb chandelier for my family room make-over. It is so beautiful in the room and is definitely a statement piece. I have received compliments on it from everyone who has walked into my family room. The only issue I had was with how long it was backordered for -- I never received it until four months after I ordered it, longer than what their backorder date originally stated. Having said that, it was definitely worth the wait.

unique look - great price
We were looking for something unique in our foyer and couldn't find anything. Saw this and took a chance without seeing in person. We installed it (a little difficult but didn't need to call for a professional#. It took a day to get used to it because we thought it was suppose to be round but it is more oblong. And it seemed realllllly bright for our space but we went from 2-40 watt #which was nothing# to the large with 6 - 60 watt. Now we love it! Had guest over the weekend and they went crazy for it. Even the teenagers #who could care less about that stuff) mentioned it was cool. Very glad we purchased.... great price too. Everything else we were even considering was 3x as much. BTW we ordered the antique silver - looks fantastic hanging.

Love, love, love this light!
I bought this light for a dining space that sits between the kitchen and the living room. I needed good lighting but didn't want a heavy fixture. This is perfect. Because of the openness it feels airy and doesn't block any view. It also gives off great light when needed. (up to 360 watts). I put it on a dimmer for when we want soft ambient light. It's great quality and I would highly recommend.

This product has style!
I love this chandelier's style and presence, though I'm not in love with the finish (antique silver). They hang high enough though in my house that the finish looks more silver than antique, which is good. I bought the petite and small ones for my foyer and attached dining room and they change the whole space in a fabulous way. I absolutely recommend, but perhaps go with the brass finish.

Love it!
I searched a lot of sites and kept coming back to this light. I am so glad that I did, I love it. It is hanging over my kitchen table in an open concept kitchen/family room. I ordered the small wrought iron. It is a little more rusty than true black wrought iron, but it looks great. I bought the magnetic strands of crystals and attached them to add a little more bling and I love that too!

stunning
This light is absolutely stunning. I got the large in the dark finish for my dining room & it made the room (beware you need a very large room for the large chandelier). It's unique without being weird. The light portion is traditional while the orb surrounding it makes it different. I cannot count the # of compliments I have received. Get it. You will not be disappointed.

beautiful design, OK quality
I love the design of this lamp. I was not sure about the glass pendant at the bottom when I saw it on line but in person it really balances the rusticness of the piece. It came very quickly and was easy to install. My only issue with it is the antique silver which looks cheap up close. Luckily it is hanging overhead and most people won't see that detail.

Simply Beautiful
Very very pleased. We ordered two in the bronze. One over our stairwell and one on the second floor living area. They are classic and lovely. Go with just about any decor and have gotten compliments on them. Almost bought similar ones at another store for double the price. Glad I didn't, these are better in price and appearance, great quality too.

Beautiful chandelier!
I fell in love with this chandelier at first sight and after reading all of the great reviews decided to give it a try. It is absolutely perfect. I was worried that even the small one would be too big in my space but it is just right. And I love the crystal drop, it adds a really nice touch. I would highly recommend it!

Beautifully blends rustic and modern
We ordered the large version of this chandelier. It fits perfectly above our rustic dining table. This is quite a statement piece and brings the whole room together. Love the crystal that hangs from the bottom. It adds just the right amount of elegance without too much bling.

This is a unique and beautiful light fixture.
This is a beautiful light fixture! We hung it in our two story foyer and it really draws your eye. We wanted something that was unique and stylish, this light fixture fits the bill. I love the bronze finish, it complements our woodwork and also goes well with the other bronze light fixtures in our home. I also like that it has no shades so it gives off a lot of light. We purchased the small, 6-light chandelier, definitely recommend measuring your location first, this is a good sized fixture for a "small".

Modern with a classic twist
I am thrilled with my new chandelier. It is modern, but sure to turn into a classic feature of my home. It fits in nicely in my coastal home, but is not your typical nautical themed lighting.
