Standard Delivery Orders are shipped by standard ground and usually arrive within 3-7 business days. Items ordered at the same time may not be delivered together.
Threshold Delivery Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice.
In-Home Delivery In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery. (Not available in all states.)
O/S (Oversized) Delivery Items that are heavy or bulky are subject to an Oversized Delivery surcharge. This charge is listed after the item price.

Better than the major competitor
Allergies have forced us to forego real trees, so I was looking at a few high-end artificial trees online. The tips on this looked so realistic, so I took the plunge and ordered this one. I'm truly thrilled with it, though I wish I'd gone with the 9' now that I see the sale price!
If you look at the tips on this one up close and then look at the other high-end noble firs, this one is the most realistic. The bag that it comes with is also quite sturdy and has handles.
If there is a downside, I'd say it is the trunk, which looks fake--it's not even an attempt to look like wood. The foil is to just fill the tree with garlands and lots of ornaments. No one has noticed yet that the tree is not real!

Overall Bad Experience
The first tree that was delivered had several branches that didn't light up. I did the "trouble shooting" guide and tried to change the fuse. I probably spent almost half an hour trying to change the fuse. Never snapped into place. Then I realized they should send me a new tree for what I paid for it. So they did-but I had to cancel my decorating party that we usually have after Thanksgiving because I didn't have a tree. The new one came and I agree with the other reviewer that the tips of the tree come off with any sort of manipulation-many fell of putting up the tree and the pine cones on the tree were broken in several parts before I even unpacked it. Very very disappointed.

A lovely artificial tree
This came in a large heavy box. It was in three portions. We needed two people to put each piece on the other, due to the weight. Attaching the lights was simple. Voila! A beautiful tree is set up, full of lovely lights. The stand is adequate and simple. Thank you for a beautiful tree.

Lights too bright and tree not as real as I thought for the price
Thought twice about ordering the tree as it was rather expensive. However, I knew Ballard was generally good so gave it a go. However, the tree is almost impossible for one person to put together, when lighted it is so bright it is like looking into auto headlights! Also, it takes a bit to shape the needles, and generally get it to look like a real tree. So, for value versus money, I'd say no. Is it ok? Yes but not entirely. I have kept it because I needed it at the time and couldn't wait.
