Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. Standard Delivery Orders are shipped by standard ground and usually arrive within 3-7 business days. Items ordered at the same time may not be delivered together.
Threshold Delivery Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice.
In-Home Delivery In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery.
Express Delivery Express orders received by 3 p.m. EST are shipped the same day. For items under 15 lb., the following Express Delivery rates apply:

I bought these chairs almost a year ago and they haven't help up well at all. The straw that wraps around the joints has cracked off repeatedly and underneath is bare (I have the mahogany color) so they look terrible. I have tried to glue the peices back on, but it doesn't last long before they crack off again. The chairs aren't used that often as they're living room chairs so I would hate to see what would happen with normal use. Also, the zippers on the cushions broke off the first time that I washed the covers so now when I wash them, I have to sew the zippers on to keep them from sliding off. Overall, very poorly made and I will never hear the end of it from my husband!

Let me start off by saying I LOVE Ballard Designs, so it pains me to have to say that this product is not made well. Only buy these if you plan on just looking at the chairs. They are so delicate and the faux bamboo cracks, and the faux rattan strapping breaks off very easily. So sad because I love the look of these, but the ones that I have are a mess after only having them for a short time- 1 year in my dining room that has been used twice :( I should add as well, that the catolog when I ordered these said Leather Rattan strapping, but that wasn't the case. They have since updated the website and catalog to reflect the correct material.

Well-enough made. Matches my more expensive Chippendale armchairs. Wish the pad was more comfortable - it is relatively thin and hard.

The chairs greatly enhance my decor. The cushions are useless.

I ordered the chairs despite other reviews that cited the poor quality of the cushions. I am keeping the chairs because they are exactly what I was looking for, but had to search for new cushions.
The cushion cover included is white duck, which really doesn't go with the style of the chair. The insert is not a solid piece of foam but little pieces. They arrived wrinkled and crooked. Worst of all, they are too large for the chair!
These are definitely not up to Ballard standards. Expect to need to buy cushions if you order these chairs.
