We want you to be happy. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or refund (excluding Shipping & Processing fees). All products are guaranteed from defects for a full year.
Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.
Special delivery methods are noted in the item description.
Standard Delivery
Orders are shipped by standard ground and usually arrive within 3-7 business days. Items ordered at the same time may not be delivered together.
Threshold Delivery
Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice.
In-Home Delivery
In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery.
Express Delivery
Express orders received by 3 p.m. EST are shipped the same day.
For items under 15 lb., the following Express Delivery rates apply:
- Two day service, add $9.95
- Next day service, add $19.95
- Alaska, Puerto Rico, USVI & Hawaii, add $9.95 (Express Delivery required)

Swatch Shipping
Ballard Designs offers up to 10 free swatches for all of our fabrics for a small fee of $5.95 for shipping and processing. It will take 3-7 business days for your swatches to arrive. The swatches are approximately a 3" X 3" square.

Our inviting Hudson Settee has the sink-in comfort of a sofa, but in a size that fits just about anywhere, from a bedroom suite to studio apartment. Its all-hardwood frame is double doweled, screwed and glued for a solid, substantial feel. Seat cushion has a supportive foam core wrapped in sumptuous down-blend. Two matching throw pillows included (we added 2 more in contrasting Madera fabric). Made in the USA.Overall rating

Exactly as advertised

I was nervous about purchasing a sofa from a website, without the benefit of testing its comfort and sturdiness first, but this settee is as solid as described and the seat as plush as it appears on the site. The fabric is also of very good quality. It looks great in my master suite - perfect size for the room. And as you can see, my cat loves it, too!

Love this sofa

We bought this with the Suzanne Kaisler "mineral" fabric, which is beautiful. A local designer recommended this piece, and she was so right! it is comfortable and fits perfectly in our very small den. Three (not very big) people can sit comfortably.

Exactly what I wanted for small living room

I searched a long time to find the perfect settee and this was it - nice fabric, construction, size and price! The color was true to the advertised illustration, and the overall quality makes me extremely pleased that I ordered this lovely piece of furniture

Comfortable and perfect for a small place

I was hesitant to order a settee without being able to sit on it but am absolutely thrilled with the comfort and the style of this product. I ordered it in the toffee check and paired it with your Le Poem' rug in the chocolate. It is perfect for our new home !!!!
