Special delivery methods are noted in the item description.
Standard Delivery
Orders are shipped by standard ground and usually arrive within 3-7 business days. Items ordered at the same time may not be delivered together.
Threshold Delivery
Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice.
In-Home Delivery
In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery.
Express Delivery
Express orders received by 3 p.m. EST are shipped the same day.
For items under 15 lb., the following Express Delivery rates apply:
- Two day service, add $9.95
- Next day service, add $19.95
- Alaska, Puerto Rico, USVI & Hawaii, add $9.95 (Express Delivery required)

Swatch Shipping
Ballard Designs offers up to 10 free swatches for all of our fabrics for a small fee of $5.95 for shipping and processing. It will take 3-7 business days for your swatches to arrive. The swatches are approximately a 3" X 3" square.

This sofa is a great value and quite handsome.

I ordered the sofa in the spicy velvet. Workmanship is beautiful and large and comfortable enough to get a nice night's rest, if you had company. Who needs a sofa bed? As long as that person is not too tall. The design makes an outstanding statement, very unique. Ok, some minor things, but only as suggestions. I wish the bottom cushions could have a little clip to keep them pulled in, they may slide forward a little and on the front of one cushion, the velvet seemed to be a slight bit lighter. Little comments, create better products and I never expected to love this piece of furniture so much. So, thanks Ballard

Better than I hoped!

I was surprised by the quality of this sofa when it arrived. It looks even better in person. They really got the details in the sofa right, from the nailhead to the brass casters on the feet. The cushions hold their shape well, which is so important on a sofa with such tidy lines. No slouching here! Also, it is very comfortable! Very pleased.

Having never purchased a big item from an online catalog I was nervous but couldn't resist this piece.
Ballard sent many swatches and I settled on a chocolate twill. So happy with the end result. The Griffin is a perfect size and style for my small front sitting room. The cushions are thick and comfortable (a concern ordering online). I am beyond pleased with this purchase from my ordering experience to delivery. Thank you Ballard Designs for a wonderful experience and quality sofa.

Beautiful sofa -- great value

We were reluctant to order a large piece of upholstered furniture online, but after finding nothing locally for even double the price, we decided to go for it. It came well packed and in perfect condition. Fit and finish are impeccable and we have had no regrets! Consistently impressed with the quality of Ballard's merchandise.
