Heirloom Quality
These are beautiful drapes and the quality and craftsmanship are superb. They are a great value also. I priced having them made and couldn't come anywhere close to what Ballard offers them for and they wouldn't have been nearly as nice. I have only one complaint. The length of the curtains includes the fringe. I found this to be true of the burlap tablecloth as well. Since you can see through the fringe you need to take this into account. I wish Ballard would redesign so the total length does Not include the fringe. These would get 5 stars if not for this.

Great Price but Tight Rod Pocket
We bought four panels of these drapes to cover an unused chalk board that was 100 inches wide. We needed the type of drapery rod that curved back to the wall, not the type with finials. We found that the rod pocket was too tight for a 2 1/2 inch high drapery rod and the drapes were almost too heavy for the narrow rod. Ultimately, we added extra mid-span supports and used the narrow rod. Also, we ordered the Ivory color and the drapes were somewhat darker than we expected.

LOVE these drapes!
Beautiful drapes, great quality, at an affordable price. The burlap is just gorgeous, rustic, yet elegant. I have them in my living room and they look perfect for the space, couldnt be happier!

These curtains are really beautiful.
Excellent material and great quality product. I would truly recommend these curtains to my family and friends. They are one of a kind and I don't have to worry about them being in every house I go into.

Nice color, good quality
Needed new curtains for the bedroom, chose these because they also have a lining and wanted them a little darker than what i had before. I did not want total black out drapes, these allow some light to come through which i like. The only drawback initially was a strong odor from the burlap. I aired the drapes out for 2 days before hanging them. You can still smell it a little but not as strong as before. They look great! I'm very happy with the purchase. I had questions for customer service and they got back to me right away and were very helpful!

Great buy for the money.
These panels are exceptionally well made and at a good price. I ordered the ivory and it is a vibrant, clean and beautiful color...not just a dirty white look. Burlap smell was eliminated after a few days hanging outside on screened porch. Love them!

Exactly what I wanted!
The burlap drapes have the perfect combination of rustic elegance that I love. They drape nicely and are well made. After reading previous reviews I expected a stronger smell from them upon opening the package. Whatever smell there was quickly dissipated.
They were worth every penny! I would buy them again.

Casual unexpected that's me
Have not got the up on windows yet waiting for house to finished being built knew this was the look I was going for along with burlap drum lighting also going to get more things from here to finish my casual look !!Will send pics as soon as I can !!!

Love this look
I'm thrilled with these curtains. Color is perfect, quality of burlap is great (no picks, runs, etc) and the cotton lining gives them a nice finish.

Very nice drapes
These drapes are exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something for my bedroom that would be substantial, and lined, but let some light through, too. The only drawback, and its small, is there was a burlap odor to these when I first took them out of the package. I opened them all and let them air out for a few days and they were fine. Very happy with this purchase!

Love them
These were on backorder but they were well worth the 3 month wait. Well made, very nice quality. Rather than use the rod pocket, I hung mine with clip on rings. Needed to steam them to get the wrinkles out.

stunning -- and excellent value for style
These panels add a unique textural element to any room. They give off a pleasant "dried grass clippings" scent initially which dissipates after a couple of weeks. Paired with rope tiebacks, they are quite a focal point. I was surprised at the high quality of these panels. The lining provides the kind of weight found in custom panels, and they are wide enough to give the kind of fullness found in a formal drapery. The neutral color goes with any palette, and the deeper shade of the burlap nevertheless lightens the room with its texture.

Will go great in any room
We were very pleased with the color and quality of these panels upon their arrival. I appreciate the fact that they are lined as well, which is helpful in cold weather months.
The only thing I haven't figured out is how to get the creases out of them before hanging. Does anyone know...can this burlap material be ironed?

Exceeded my expectations.
After swapping my (too formal) custom made drapes for these, my family room transformed into a casual, warm, and updated room. They look great pulled back with a hemp rope tieback.

Love these drapes!
I bought these drapes about 1 month ago for my master bedroom and I love them! They do have a burlap smell to them but the smell does fade away in about a week. I love the texture and fringe. Rustic but also elegnant. The only problem I have with them, they are stiff and still have some wrinkles. I will probably take them to the cleaners soon to press them. Thanks Ballard.

Beautiful~
This is exactly what I had been looking for.....at the right price, and the right color. Took it right out of the pkg. and hung it up and it looks great. It does say dry clean, and that is no problem as I doubt it would have to be done much......a small hand vac would clean ok for quite some time.

Gorgeous, natural drapes that add character.
We bought these drapes with the DEAUVILLE FINIAL & ROD SET & bronze swivel tie backs backs - they look perfect in our large living room with a wooden floor and caramel linen sofas. Steamed the creases out of them and they now hang beautifully. Got them during the sale ($35 each), but so happy with them have ordered more at full price for another room.

Perfect option for casual or elegant interiors
I love the burlap panels in ivory. I purchased one for each side of the windows, but felt they looked somewhat skimpy, so ordered two more. I buttoned the two tie backs together and wrapped them around the two panels. Looks great, very luxurious. I would like to attach the small tabs to the windowpane when I find the right hardware. Any suggestions out there...

Great Drapes!
These are great! They are nice and heavy so they hang well. The fringe is also nice and heavy. I put them in my living / dining rooms and they give a designer look while keeping it casual!

Great Quality
Ellegant yet with a rustic country feel - the best quality burlap that I have ever seen and/or touched. The chocolate is a bit dark but paired it up with tan panels and they look great.

Love these panels!
We recently moved and I purchased these drapes for the second time. I love them! My only recommendation is that if you are not using them on a large window, consider a tie-back because they are a little bulky!

Casual or Formal...great buy
Although they look see-thru in the photo, they are lined, and people are unable to see inside your windows. I put 4 of these panels in my bay window. I bought 4 'rustic' doorknockers (yes, doorknockers!), and thick rope from the hardware store. I threaded the rope through the doorknockers (after attaching 4 to the bay window area), and that's what I use for tiebacks! Casual AND elegant (believe it or not!). I had these panels in another home, and bought them for this one. They do have a strange smell, but as mentioned by others who bought them, it does go away within a week or so. Love, love, love these panels! I have the fringe burlap bedskirt on my bed. Goes with ANY style room!

Just perfect!
I ordered a pair of the chocolate drapes and they are perfect in my living room! Loved them so much I ordered another pair for my kitchen nook. The color is very rich, the folds ironed out easily, and they are very well made. I hung them in my living room using clip rings and in my kitchen nook I put the rod through the casing and used the tie-backs that came with the curtains for two different looks. Thank you, Ballard!
