Standard Delivery Orders are shipped by standard ground and usually arrive within 3-7 business days. Items ordered at the same time may not be delivered together.
Threshold Delivery Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice.
In-Home Delivery In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery. (Not available in all states.)
O/S (Oversized) Delivery Items that are heavy or bulky are subject to an Oversized Delivery surcharge. This charge is listed after the item price.

I wanted to love it...
From a "looks" perspective, this table and chair set is lovely. I loved the way it looked in the catalog and also on my deck. I had the same experience as the above reviewer who said her friends mistook it for an indoor dining set. We actually did have it inside for a month after we first got it since we had no dining room table at the time. I also concur with the thorough packing and assembly time it took. Not difficult, but time consuming, especially if you use an Allen tool. All of ours lined up properly, we didn't need to drill additional holes.
Ok, so the problem was how it wore one placed outside. The very light whitewash began flaking and even splintering right away. The table corners began to pull apart and the adhesive used kind of washed away. It's possible I got a defective table but there was no way, at the rate it was falling apart it was going to last for several seasons. Also, nearly all of the screw covers (little wooden pegs) got very moldy and fell out.
Sadly, and after much debate, we decided to return it. Ballard has a generous return policy and worked with us to schedule the pick up (we didn't have to disassemble the chairs!) and refunded our full purchase. I was very disappointed as I think the table is truly unique and very attractive. I will continue to purchase from Ballard, we have been happy with other purchases and their customer service is great!

Surprised by the color
I received the set this week and while I like the overall style of it, the color is not at all what I expected. It is called "whitewash" and it really is just a wash of paint over the wood. Mine actually looks sort of pink against my white house/deck. Online, it looks like a solid white. I think I'll need to paint it to get the look I want, which is disappointing. Assembly is not difficult but is rather time consuming -- 40 mins per piece.

Beautiful, great quality and unique!
Our furniture just arrived today and my husband and I just finished putting it together. It looks gorgeous! Really heavy and well made and the finish is so unique- perfect french country look for our backyard. It wasn't too hard to put together- just time consuming (get a drill bit instead of using the little hand wrench that it comes with with- much faster.) We couldn't be happier and can't wait for our cushions and umbrella.

Very attractive and comfortable
Easy to put together although time consuming. The wood is a little rough and should have been finely sanded a little more. Other than that, it is a sturdy, comfy and good looking.
