Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Standard Delivery Orders are shipped by standard ground and usually arrive within 3-7 business days. Items ordered at the same time may not be delivered together.
Threshold Delivery Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice.
In-Home Delivery In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery. (Not available in all states.)
O/S (Oversized) Delivery Items that are heavy or bulky are subject to an Oversized Delivery surcharge. This charge is listed after the item price.
Express Delivery Express orders received by 3 p.m. EST are shipped the same day. For items under 15 lb., the following Express Delivery rates apply:

Subpar Expectations?
I ordered 6 tufted chairs with pintuck fabric, and was quite disappointed with both the workmanship and the quality of the fabric.
As to the workmanship, the tufting and appearance does not look anything like the photo, but more importanly are not uniform from chair to chair - the lines or "wrinkles" are haphazard looking and make the chairs look very cheap.
As to the fabric (which was premium priced), it appears more like muslin in appearance and touch. The chairs cost well over $2k and they appear more like something worn and misgotten.
All in all, very dissapointed with this purchase, and great regrets!

Parsons chairs
I bought these chairs to add a touch of comfort to our breakfast area of the kitchen and I am really thrilled with them. They are sturdily made and the upholstery is so well done they look like I paid far more for them than I did. I chose Augustine Amber and people looking at them even quite close up think they are actual needlepoint

Love these chairs!
I was looking for host and hostess chairs for a long time before I realized I could send in my own fabric to Ballard. I decided on a yellow velvet that I sent in, ordered the chairs and they came about 6 weeks later in great shape! I am very happy with the quality of the product and the customer service / process of Ballard for special orders. Super easy and awesome results!

Wouldn't Recommend this at all- Go with parsons chair instead
I am very disappointed with this chair. I ordered this chair after having ordered parsons chairs from Ballard that were fantastic- comfortable and good quality. This chair is a different story. The tufting and the random wrinkled look of the fabric does not look polished in our dining room at all. These chairs look so comfortable and inviting but sitting in them feels like you are sitting on a rock- the seat and back of the chair are extremely uncomfortable. The seat is also very shallow- So disappointed. I have ordered so many wonderful items from Ballards- this was a real let down. If you want high quality and comfort go with a parsons chair- the camille takes so long to arrive, is uncomfortable, poor quality, and it is not worth the wait.
