Beautiful but damaged
I needed a mirror for a space in my front hall and after comparing several mirrors from several websites, went ahead and purchased this mirror. Upon arrival I noticed how heavy it was and seemed to be of good quality. However, there was a large area on the top that was damaged. I did NOT contact the company in part, because I did not want the aggravation of returning such a bulky and heavy item. Also, the damaged area can not be seen from where it is hung on the wall. I thought about repairing the item myself with wood putty and paint but have not yet done so. I would hesitate to buy such a large item online again due to this issue. Otherwise, it is an elegant nice looking mirror.

This is an absolutely beautiful mirror!
I bought this mirror as a Christmas gift for my sister. She had a hard time deciding where to hang it, as it looked great in so many places in her house. She finally decided on her master bathroom. She was simply delighted with this gift! Thank you Ballard Designs!

Average quality
I had not paid attention to the fact that every other small piece of the mirror on the edge is antiqued, so I was disappointed in this mirror. The edge is about an inch of thick brown which really didn't have the quality I expect from Ballard.
The pictures in the reviews with it mounted above fireplaces looks so beautiful, but I wanted it for an entry way where you would see the sides of it.
It was very reasonable ($8) to return it, so I would say it's worth trying it in your room.

Gorgeous mirror
It has a high quality look and looks elegant in my bedroom. I ordered the large and it was a bit bigger than I expected.

beautiful mirror
I was very pleased with this mirror. The little "antique spots" on the glass are more pronounced than in the picture of the item, and they are on every other pane of the spiral, but I really like the effect. The mirror adds lots of light to the room, as we placed it across from a window on a windowless wall.

A great addition to our home!
I love this mirror so much that I haven't decided where to hang it just yet! I purchased just 1 to keep it special, but I am still trying to decide what to hang it with. It needs to be grouped together because of the size, otherwise it might be lost on a wall.

Reflects light beautifully
I replaced an old, outdated wooden framed mirror over my entryway bombe chest with the large Bellasol. Wow! It is just stunning- very unique visually and the way it reflects the light brightens everything. I couldn't be happier.

Great Customer Services
Have used BD for many years and love their stuff. On a recent purchase, the piece was damaged in freight and when I called in to explain, they made it so easy to get me a replacement right away. Just no hazzles and all about customer satisfaction.

Fantastic design. Very cute addition to my bedroom.
I expected the rim of the mirror to be metal (it seems to be painted plastic), but overall the mirror is really cute and well put together. For the price, it is a really nice product.

Classic Mirror, reasonable price!
This is the second Bellesol Mirror I have purchased. I used one in my master bedroom over a dresser. And, I used one in our new, old church's foyer. We placed it over the fireplace and it goes great with all of the beautiful old silver fixtures that are original to the amazing old building. I highly recommend this mirror.

Adds a bit of sparkle to any room
The Bellesol Mirrors added the perfect finishing touch to my bedroom. I loved them so much I ordered a third one for my den so no matter where I am, I can enjoy them. They are a great way to add a little sparkle to any room-make sure to hang them near a window or lamp for the most impact.

This mirror is beautiful with the antiqued perimeter.
This mirror is absolutely gorgeous! Think of an old old farm house and you have stumbled on this mirror that looks like an antique. It also would look great in a posh condo uptown. Really quality, beauty and largeness makes for a very striking useful decor. Only wish I had more homes to decorate. Love, love, love it.

Not what I expected, but still cute
This mirror definitely looked nicer online. The faux antique finish is not great at all...and the actual mirror surface is small and almost made me feel claustrophobic in the small dark bathroom I wanted to use it in. I think it would look nice in a bright room, where better able to reflect light, etc.

More substantial than the photo suggests
I've seen mirrors similar to this one at various stores and was pleasantly surprised when I received it... it is heavier and more substantial than it looks... a great find!

Nice, but . . .
I ordered 3 of these to group. I like the size and weight of the mirror -- looks more expensive than it is, but I'm not crazy about the fake "antiquing" on the mirror glass. The product photo must have been re-touched because it's not apparent as shown on the Web site. Not sure I'll keep them.

Nice Mirrors
I have a set of three of the small mirrors over our bed. They are nice quality and bounce the light around in the bedroom. I have already recommended them to my daughter who is looking for something to put in her dark stairway.

High quality, great design, perfect focal point over fireplace.
I always love everything I have ordered from Ballard design. I pour over the catalogue and make a wish list. The Bellesol mirror looks lovely on the wall over my fireplace. I've mixed the look with mercury glass pieces and candles for a serene and beautiful look. Can't wait to add white birch branches, white lights and a little greenery for Christmas.

Different than expected, but good
I had been eyeing this mirror for quite a long time and finally had a new home and perfect place for the medium sized mirror. The size, shape, and the metallic tones are gorgeous. It's a substantial piece. However, perhaps I had too long pictured it in my head and not clearly read the description - I don't love the alternating antiqued and plain panels. I think they should be all one or the other, because it looks a bit too contrived. That said, I keep getting compliments on the mirror and it looks lovely in my home.

Mirrors Offer Fantastic Visual Impact
I purchased the large mirror and two small mirrors to flank each side. The overall effect for the room is stunning. As I was hanging one of the small mirrors I did notice the wooden rim was broken off and was disappointed. I did not want to ship the mirror back as I was having a dinner party and wanted to have them hanging so I placed the damaged mirror in the least conspicuous place in the arrangement. Overall I am very happy with the purchase!!

Too small/too big
While I do know how to use a tape measure, I found that the 'small' I ordered was too small, and the 'medium' (which is really a LARGE) that I ordered next was too big. The mirror is lovely, but I wish it came in a mid-size.

This product adds the perfect touch to a room.
The mirror looks fantastic in my bedroom. It adds just the right touch to my decor. In fact I liked it so much I went into one of your stores and with the help of the very friendly store clerk I bought one for my daughter's apartment. It looks beautiful in her dining room as it really brings in the light. She loves it!

The mirrors are just what I needed in my room.
I purchased both mirror sizes and they look great in my living room. They feel substantial and worth the price compared to some other similar mirrors I saw at a different store. I am pleased with my purchase.

Ok mirror but not great
My main problem with this mirror is that the edge around the center mirror and the little edge mirrors looks cheap. The way the larger and smaller mirrors come together there looks strange in person. It wasn't bad enough to return the mirror, but it's I wouldn't buy another one for anywhere else in my house.

beautiful
really gorgeous mirror that instantly enhances any room with a soft vintage look. did not come with hanging hardware which I expected but otherwise very satisfied.
