tote bag
I ordered three of these..two for gifts and one for myself. I have had lots of people ask me where I got my tote bag, so hopefully I have sent you some business! Scale of momogram too small for bag
I ordered the red bag, it is pictured in a very vivid hue. It is not as bright as pictured.

Huge sturdy bag!
I ordered 2 of these bags, one for each of my teen daughters. They use them as bookbags for school. They are made of very sturdy jute w/ longlasting leather handles. They just love them! Better than I had imagined them. Thanks.

Style and Great Size! Love it!
My tote bag is fabulous. I love the richness of the color perked up even more by a monogram. The large tote is that, large, making it very useful for toting plenty of items. It's depth disinguishes it from other totes. I will
use it for a 'carry on' while traveling because it
doubles almost as another weekend bag, while offering incredible style. Love it, love it!

This product serves multiple purposes
I love the tote! I purchased it for the purpose of using it for work. I bought it in black with an off white monogramming and even though it is burlap (which at first I was a little disappointed) I tied a black sheer scarf to the handle and it is very classy. Even without the scarf it is still attractive. I would recommend this item to anyone, you can't go wrong for whatever purpose you want it for. It is very roomy can hold a lot.

Great Bag
Saw a co-worker with this bag and had to have it. I've been using it for the gym, shopping and as a carry-on for travel. I love that it zips unlike many tote bags! The only downside is that the material sheds a little and can leave some fibers on my jeans. But, still well worth it! Planning to buy one for my Mom as well!

A great bag!
This is my second bag to buy from Ballard & it's just as good as the first. I bought my first one (the large) a few years ago; this medium one was bought to use as a little overnight bag for our new baby & we're looking forward to using it once he gets here! The monogram looks great, as always & Ballard Designs has great customer service & shipping was very fast.

just love the tote bags...the medium ones are perfect Florida handbags and the monogram gives the burlap a classic look......and the larger ones are just perfect to take my school work back and forth. Everyone asks me where I got the cool tote bags

Pale Green Bag with Monogram
This bag is a good size, with sturdy handles and an interior pocket. The monogram is well done. The creases from folding do not come out easily, even with steaming, and I would have preferred a bag with lining. Nevertheless, I would buy this bag again. I am using this in a corner of my living room where I work on my laptop. I use the bag to store all my little gadgets and papers to keep the living room tidy and looking like a living room instead of a minor office.

Good looking and sturdy

Gorgeous color selection and a fantastic array of fonts for monogram. My bag is sturdy, functional with a latex lining and super stylish. I will absolutely be ordering another for myself and few for Christmas gifts!

just what i needed
I carry all the items I need when showing properties. It all fits with room to spare. Looks great with my initials and the price didn't break the bank. Thought I would like to have a lining at first but as I use it I realize I don't need a lining, its perfect the way it is. Thanks Ballard

Nice value
Material was coarser and rougher than I assumed from the description, but still nice, particularly the color choice. Bags also really had intense unpleasant smell, which I had to eliminate before giving them as gifts. Did so by placing them in a plastic bag with some potpourri for a couple of weeks. Still, an excellent value overall and quite stylish.

My own debacle
This is the first time I have been disappointed in a Ballard product. I thought I ordered the smallest tote hoping to use it as a lightweight purse. Shipping was postponed many months but I suffered a serious illness in March from which I am still recovering. Finally, when the product came, it was the medium size tote and I will never use it due to my having so many other totes that size that are more attractive. As a small purse, it would be more acceptable but as a tote, it is much too flimsy. The price was minimal and due to the illness, I could no longer find my original order so I kept it but still have no lightweight summer purse. It is now fall so that is no longer a concern now either.

Durable, Attractive & Functional.
I love these totes. I have purchased every size, personalized, in many colors and given them as gifts. People love them. I also use the personalized totes with my company's name for carrying all of the gear I need. They are sturdy and a fantastic-looking way to schlepp everything from beach gear to groceries. The zipper is incredibly useful and the lining is durable. But - be aware that the fabric is jute and, therefore, not a soft friend to rub up against sensitive fabrics such as silk or a fragile cashmere, etc... (The Largest tote is my favorite.)

Terrific Beach Bag!
I love this bag for going to the beach as it meets two of my essential needs in a beach bag. I can put the handles over my shoulder and I can fit my towel in the bag. It is also great looking and the inside pocket is perfect for keeping my iPhone close at hand yet safe from sand and sun.

Better value than I had anticipated
This was a great bag that I purchased for my friend's birthday. I had purchased a similar bag for myself 7-8 years ago (also from Ballard) and was pleased to find that this new bag was even LARGER than the one I purchased way back then, but for the SAME PRICE! When does that ever happen? Thank you for the pleasant surprise!

Not what I was hoping for...
Very thin, almost see-through tote. I was expecting a more substantial tote bag. Bought it for a beach trip, but ended up using another one instead. Also, the burlap is very rough on your arms...

Cute but uncomfortable
This is a cute bag...love the way it looks. But the leather straps are too short so it's difficult to carry over your shoulder. Also, hoping after some use the straps will soften a bit.

Love the tote bag!
I purchased one for myself and one as a gift for my daughter.
The bags exceed my expectations....large, zippered and the monogram was in perferct proportion to the bag.

Great at the beach and pool!
I bought one for each of my adult daughters (3), myself, and my granddaughter. We had a great vacation at the beach and loved the convenience of each being able to carry all the 'stuff' needed - beach towel, cover-up, flip-flops, sun-tan lotion, hair accessories and brush, reading material, camera, snacks, and a soft drink or water. We all appreciated the little zipper pocket to keep our watch, etc. out of the sand and a place to put change for the vending machine. We each had a different color tote, each personalized with our initials. The girls were thrilled! Everything fit with room to spare and all of our things survived without a problem. We shopped at the 'discount' beach stores and they had nothing even close in value or style. I'm now planning on which of my family and friends will get one for Christmas this year. This is a super gift at a great price. Thank you!
