Good Looking Rug for Many Uses
We bought this rug for our kitchen and love it. It brightens up the area and is easy to clean if there are spills-food stains. We were going to replace the Sisal rug which we previously had in our kitchen but saw this online and decided to try something different. We are glad that we did.

Beautiful and Unique
I purchased two runners for my hallways. They are very beautiful and unique and give a warmth to thehallway. My home is decorated in French decor and these rugs look gorgeous! I had to purchase a rug pad as they are lightweight and move around, but with the pad underneath they are great!

Looks good, feels good and is great value!
I bought the Antique Letters indoor/outdoor rug in the runner size. It fits the hall area perfectly. The quality is excellent and is a terrific value. I have received many positive comments because of the unique pattern. I find it typical of everything that I have from Ballard Designs.

Even better than the picture
This rug is better than I expected. The color is true to the catalog. It is durable--handles traffic from dogs and an office chair rolling over it daily. I can sweep or vacuum, and can even pick it up and shake it off easily. I like the texture that it adds to the room. A good buy.

Very poor product
This rug is absolutely useless. It won't roll down (One end simply will not stay down.) I also ordered a mat and it won't stay on the mat. And the design is stupid - it should have the writing cover the whole rug. This is the worst purchase I ever made through a catalog.

High quality
High quality. However, in the catalog the lettering appeared to be black. Was disappointed when I saw it was not but was able to use anyway. Really like it. You might consider mentioning the color in your catalog to prevent this mistake. Otherwise very pleased.

disappointed
I expected the rug to look like the picture. The design interest is not just in the writing, but also the contrast between it and the circular "stamps". My rug came with only the writing, so lacks the visual impact as shown in the catalog.
The quality is good.

perfect rug BUT color is NOT WHITE
So far I like the rug alot EXCEPT the picture is very misleading...it is a golden rug - NOT WHITE. White would have been beautiful but the golden color still looks ok in our mud room. Nice lighter outdoor/indoor rug and has a strong "tough" feel to it.

Design and Durable
I purchased a full sized rug and runner for my family room. I LOVE that it is stylish and durable. Not to long ago a full glass of red wine spilled on the rug - No worries- it cleaned up easily and there was not a trace of a stain- LOVE LOVE this rug

This rug is softer than I expected
Since I am using this cute rug in my bedroom, I was pleasantly surprised that it is fairly soft and smooth, for in indoor/outdoor rug.
I would have liked to see more of the postal "stamps" on it but apart from that, it is really good-looking.

I can't believe how this rug warmed up my kitchen floor!
The chocolate with natural script design was more beautiful than I expected. Everything I have ever ordered from Ballard has always been of great quality. If your looking for that French vintage vibe, I would recommend this rug indoors or out.

Looks Cheap
If i hadn't bought this on-sale, I would return it. It's a light brown color w/ dark brown lettering. The stitching/fibers in the rug are quite large. I've had the rug for a week and it still hasn't flattened out yet. Also, it's very thin.

Good value for the price
I bought this rug for my dining room. I wish the writting on the rug was a little darker as it looks great from farther away, but when standing on it the writting/ pattern seems a little faded. Definately a good buy for the price though.

Conversation Starter
Nice rug for the winter time since it cleans off easily. People stop by and want to try and figure out what it says! The only negative I have is that it took a LONG time to uncurl and lay flat. Otherwise, I'm glad I purchased it.

Love it!
Absolutely love this rug ! One reviewer said to flatten corners with a hair dryer and that was an awesome idea! Worked perfectly for me and my rug is perfect for my outdoor deck/seating area! Buy this and you will never be sorry!

Yellow, not cream colored, still BEAUTIFUL!
As many other reviewers have mentioned, this rug is not as shown on the site, it is yellowish, not cream colored. No matter, it's really a beautiful accent! I bought the 2'x8' for a runner in our entryway and it is perfect!

Nice accent piece
While I wouldn't order this rug as a large area rug that I would sit on, I do like it for the accent it brings to my living room. I ordered the runner for a nice accent in front of my bar, and it works perfectly for that.

Antique letter indoor/outdoor rug
Fabulous!! I accidentally stepped on a raspberry and didn't notice until I had tracked it all over the rug.
It came right up--no stain! it is perfect in front of my kitchen sink. Also, I've had so many compliments on it.

Charming rug
Put the rug in guest room - low traffic and minimum care.
Still trying to figure out what it says - French dictionary in hand. Only problem is that it has creases from being rolled/folded which should go away in time.

Very pleased with this rug
Just as pictured, this rug looks great, is easy to maintain, and adds flair to a family room that needed a boost. It took just an hour for the rug to be completely flat and the edges no longer a tripping hazard.

Perfect for my sunroom
Love this rug! The color, another reviewer called yellow, is maybe like "straw"-it isn't off white or ivory. It is just decorative enough without being "busy". Very nice rug-so glad I got this one.

Nice enough for indoors
I'm very happy with the rug. I needed something durable enough for my desk chair to roll on, but still elegant enough for my office. It's the perfect thing for what I needed.

Soft and durable
The rug was purchased for my office, which leads to an outside door. I like the stylish feel it gives my office while holding up to the traffic from the outside. Very nice!

attractive, good quality rugs,using indoors over tile floor
good looking rugs..having a problem getting the hemmed edges to lay flat -- tripping over them not good.

Beautiful!
