Square footage is an opinion

Erica's cozy bedroom

When our lighting buyer, Erica, moved into her first apartment in New York, she still thought shoeboxes were for shoes. Her "loft" was less than 400 square feet and came with a roommate, small bath and one closet.

Erica's living room with a killer view of the city.
Using Erica's tiny New York apartment as our inspiration, we used our best small-space ideas to transform the studio in our March catalog into a stylishly comfortable living space:

We used our grand-scale Grand Palais Mirror to add light and make the room feel bigger. Our Manchester Apartment Sofa delivers a big look in a space-loving design, while our Terrific Table serves as a side table and offers hidden storage. We created a cozy dining area and added extra counter space with our Tavern Bar Table.

And our modular Office Designs and Sonoma Bookcase (shown in the catalog) make smart use of every square inch. Finally, we used a bright wallpaper throughout to pull it all together and make the entire space feel much bigger than it really is.

An oversized mirror makes the room feel bigger. A bar height table doubles as a desk.
