Kings Road Baker's Rack
It all started with cocktails

It was a big idea that started out on a cocktail napkin in a Paris café—our first retail store. Of course, it took years of planning, but last July, the first Ballard Designs store opened in Tampa to a standing-room-only crowd. We designed every detail, right down to the display fixtures. And
that's how our new Kings Road Baker's Rack
became a star.

We knew that the displays for our first retail store
were just as important as what we chose to put on them. Our Kings Road Baker's Rack is the winning result. It's unique "shepherd's hook" silhouette was inspired by an old Parisian retail fixture first discovered by our architectural firm. It was perfect. Once the look was exactly right for our store, we commissioned a long-time partner of Ballard Designs to create this beautiful translation for you.
